Hello everyone! I’m currently looking out the wall of windows over the Logan International Airfield. And so the journey begins. Saying goodbye to my parents and Ryan was the hardest part, and now its onwards and upwards to the brave new world so to say. Leaving is the scary part. Not going. And now that I’ve said my farewells, I’m feeling nothing but excitement. We made it through security seamlessly and now get to wait for two hours. I figured in that time I’d update my blog! However as I sit here, I realized there was seemingly none of the so-called “Free Wifi” anywhere in sight. Must mean I need to sit by the windows to find a hot spot? Or my computer already hates me…and the international airwaves will certainly do nothing to help that, either. Anyway, this morning I packed and unpacked and repacked until my bags JUST made it under the weight limit (huge shout out to Ryan… you’re the best), and said a teary farewell to Zouzou and am now awaiting take-off with my travel companions. We are so excited to look down in a few hours and see the green fields of Ireland. I’ll post pictures as I can, mostly from my iPhone camera for now until I can get situated. My mom wants me to text her when we land (even though it will be 4 AM your time! I’m sure she won’tbe so thrilled. Rosebud sits under my seat awaiting her first international trip (aside from the time she got lost in Canada, let’s not have a repeat of that shall we?)

Until I land,

Bisous à tout le monde
