I'm so sorry! I have been so neglectful, but at least I can say there hasn't been too much going on that's been very exciting. Since my birthday, I've just been being overwhelmed with homework and a lack of effective internet, as well as running out of food and being overtired. I did, however, get some serious work done research-wise at the UN while enjoying so 60 centime coffee. I wish I had more to tell you about, but now that the semester has gotten underway, my interesting tales have become slightly less... haha. This past weekend, though, I watched Finding NEverland with Johnny Depp, WHICH WAS AMAZING. It was pretty much the story of Peter Pan and how it was written. Sorry if this is somewhat disjuncted, but I'm in the process of BOOKING ALL OF MY TRIPS and we are seeking out youth hostels :D. Anyway, that was Friday, and Saturday we went out to this place with techno music, which I have now reconciled myself to the fact I don't like.
I think the two best things that happened were that I met my wonderful tandem partner, and the group went to the ballet interpretation of a Midsummer Night's Dream, which was AMAZING...those people are so unbelieveably talented and graceful. My tandem partner is SO nice. He's a freshman, and we can work really well together. Tandem, by the way, is when we meet up and he is a native french speaker, and I a native english speaker and we speak english and french (respectively) to each other. It is wonderful, and it's really helping my conversational french.
IN THE LATEST NEWS: I booked Barcelona, Paris, London and Berlin, and am waiting for my dad to help me book my winter wonderland of VIenna, and then I'm going to book some day trips to Zurich, Interlaken and Lucerne.
